Service over winning

Real skin in the game.

The people of the 108th deserve a representative who has lived what we live — and who listens. We're not here to win a title. We're here to serve. On August 4th and November 3rd, We, the People, respond.

Rachel Keys, candidate for Michigan House District 108
Meet Rachel

A Yooper who has spent her life in service.

Rachel Keys is a U.S. Navy veteran, an Anishinaabekwe citizen of the Bay Mills Indian Community, a Christian, and a mom raising her family right here in the district. She runs the Point Iroquois Lighthouse in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service.

From the military to the lighthouse to caring for her own family through the hardest moments, Rachel knows what service really asks of a person. "We know how to serve, and we will serve You, the People."

Our Platform

The fights we'll take to Lansing

Healthcare for All

No family in the richest country on earth should have to ask "how do we afford this?" at a loved one's bedside. We can make universal healthcare a priority.

Rural & Maternal Care

When the nearest NICU is 165 miles away, lives hang on access. We'll protect rural emergency and maternal care — and the providers who deliver it.

Standing With Veterans

A four-hour drive to the nearest VA isn't good enough. We'll fight for rural veterans' care, transportation, and the support they've earned.

Strong Public Schools

Budget cuts and teacher shortages are choking our kids' futures. We'll listen to teachers and parents and fund real opportunity — university or trade.

Our Forests & Water

The Hiawatha is our backyard. We'll defend it from corporate greed and keep our forests wild for the next seven generations.

Made-in-the-UP Energy

Solar, hydro, and small modular reactors are being researched right here. We can keep the lights on and the forests wild — working across the aisle.

"On the day of my mother's funeral, I went into emergency labor at 31 weeks. It was the ability of doctors and nurses to make life-saving decisions — without fear — that we have to thank for our very lives today. I have real skin in this."
